C.B.S.E. Cluster XII Table Tennis Championship 2006-07


YOUNG SKATERS ON WHEELS

To celebrate the true spirit of sportsmanship, the 3rd B. R. Memorial Roller Skating Championship 2005 was organized at Adarsh Public School, C-Block, Vikas Puri on 23rd & 24th Dec. 2005. The school witnessed a huge participation from over 350 participants from various renowned schools and clubs across Delhi. As it was a two-day event, a number of activities were lined up like Quads, Adjustable & Inline races and Artistic skating.

Ms. Anjum Chopra, Vice-Captain Indian Cricket Team (Women) graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and appreciated the efforts put up by the institution. Mr. Prashant, the School Director presented a brief report about the event.

It was a highly successful venture wherein the talent of the young skaters was showcased. The Rolling Trophy was bagged by Father Agnel School, Noida.

Zonal Table Tennis Tournament

Adarsh Public School Vikas Puri was the venue for Zonal Table Tennis Tournament from 25th - 29th July 2005. Mrs. Usha Sahgal, Principal, inaugurated the tournament on 25th July, 2005 with a toss.

The event witnessed both boys & girls from different age groups participating from schools like St. Francis De Sales, St. Marks, St. Cecilia’s Public School, Lawrence Public School, Oxford, etc.

In a knockout competition in the Senior, Junior & Sub-Junior categories, the teams had a fierce round of competitions. The host Adarsh Public School made a thumping victory in all the 6 categories played.

Sports Meet

Childhood is the most exciting and exuberant phase in one’s life. It provides a vivid and varied reflection of entire gamut of fun filled unforgettable experience. Children are those special people who seem to have a way of bringing cheer and gladness to everybody’s heart with their enthusiasm and curiosity for exploring and learning new things.

Children’s Day – Birthday of our loving ‘Chacha Nehru’ is a very special day for every child and on this very special occasion a spectacular 2 day Sports Meet was organised on 13th and 14th November 2003. A very lively, colourful and amazing variety of games and races were organised for the children of Classes Pre Nursery, Nursery and Prep and above all a thrilling cricket match was organised for the tiny ‘Master Blasters’ of Class II.

The Guard of Honour was given by the students of Class I and II, and the Sports Meet was declared open by the respected Principal of the school. Then started the sequence of eye- catching races and one minute tele-games.

All the children participated with great zeal and vigour and the winners were awarded with medals by the Honourable Chairman of the school, Mr. P.K. Sahgal.
