Sehwag
amidst School Kids The students of Adarsh Public School Vikas Puri experienced some ecstatic moments when they found their favourite cricket icon Virender Sehwag as the Chief Guest on the occasion of Independence Day celebration in the school.
He was presented with a Guard of Honour and traditional welcome on his arrival to school. He was mesmerized with the presentation on his life prepared by Aman Rawal student of class XII. He unfurled the National Flag and felt happy that today he is in a position to do this honour for his country.
He advised the students to participate in sports but not at the cost of studies. He played some excellent shots with the children from various age groups bowling from the other end. The Chairman Mr. P. K. Sahgal in his address, praised his excellent cricket skills and wished him to achieve greater landmarks.
He went around mixing and mingling with children, shaking hands with them, signing autographs on books, balls & cricket bats and posing for photographs.
