"The deeds of today were the dreams of yesterday and the dreams of today will be the deeds of tomorrow."

It is indeed astonishing how quickly the time passes. It appears as if it was only yesterday when Adarsh Public School (APS) came into being with a handful of students, in a limited space. Standing in sharp contrast with the scenario today, we have a conglomeration of students in its expansive 3 branches and teachers who have shown exemplary performance on this ever-onward journey in the pursuit of excellence in education.

APS is not merely an institution. It is an endeavour to provide quality education to enable the youngsters to view education as a spiritually rewarding experience of learning and growing in society. This necessitates the emphasis on science and technology along with the inculcation of integrity and human dignity.

It gives me immense satisfaction to find that the students who brought laurels to their institution in academics or co- curricular activities are leading a very successful life in their respective careers as engineers, doctors, successful businessmen not only in India but overseas as well.

Our Board results speak for themselves about the qualitative education. ’Let us not judge ourselves by what we feel capable of doing, let others judge us by what we have already achieved.’

I consider myself fortunate in having a team of teachers who are deeply committed to their profession. I take this opportunity via the World Wide Web to congratulate all staff members for their contribution, which has ensured the school’s success.

The emergence of information technology will go a long way in providing leadership and competition to the traditional systems of learning into education that stimulates learning by doing. We have to gear up to the new situation so that our students can successfully compete globally.

To all readers and netizens, let us take a pledge to continue to strive for still greater glory in the larger cause of educating our future generations.
